We offer apprenticeship positions and flexible education/training workshops tailored to your company’s specific needs
Apprenticeships
Apprenticeship positions occur on actual projects. They are physically demanding and require a minimum two week commitment. To be accepted, candidates must possess good work and study habits and be in good physical condition.
Do you how to recognize acceptable application techniques, and actions which can lead to a less than satisfactory product?
“While studying Ruben’s shooting style, it became clear to the group that as a nozzleman, Ruben does not clearly know what he is doing. This is absolutely not his fault. He has learned his techniques (angle, pattern, posture), from others, or by self learning through improvisation. Unfortunately, once improper methods become used continuously, these methods become habits that can be difficult or impossible to break.”
Teaching a nozzleman with no prior experience is far easier than teaching a nozzleman with bad habits to un-learn them.
Work side-by-side with master craftsmen learning the correct techniques for proper shotcrete placement.
Learn using hands-on techniques in the time honored tradition of passing knowledge from master to apprentice.
